A denial

A spokesman for loveandgarbage has today denied that loveandgarbage is the subject of the stories you have not heard about.

“We are aware that you have not heard about any of the stories about him in the context of another story but just wanted to confirm that those stories that you’ve not heard aren’t about him at all as he has been very busy with his work resolving the conflict between those who say “scone” and those who say “scone”.”

There will be no further statements on this issue.

About loveandgarbage

I watch the telly and read when not doing law stuff and plugging my decade and a half old unwatched Edinburgh fringe show.

  1. Doubting Thomas says:

On the scone or scone controversy, when Lizzie Queen of Scots passes over to that great throne room in the sky and we have Carlos the Bewitched as Charles King of Scots, if he is to be crowned here, will he be inaugurated sat on the stone of Scone? If so and possibly suitably inspired, perhaps his first act as King of both realms might be to settle the entire debate by decreeing that the pronunciation of scone is that of the place.
