Do it to Julia

I strained against the straps as I watched O’Brien put the record on again,

"When you’ve spent a few hours with that one tune O’Brien, whether or not accompanied by children showing you the actions, you can see why Winston cracked."

O’Brien said nothing, merely reached out and carefully turned up the volume.

What did it mean?  Big Fish?  Little Fish?  Cardboard box?  Scoop it out?  Dig dig dig it?

Big Fish Little Fish Cardboard Box

O’Brien edged the volume up one more notch.

Nail in the wall

O’Brien turned away.

"Don’t do it to me," I yelled.  "Do it to Julia.  Do it to everyone."

O’Brien nodded and spoke,

"Oh, we can do that."

He smiled.
