Doctor Who – the hidden arc

Viewers of the RTD produced Doctor Who are aware that each series he has some common theme for loyal viewers: we’ve had Bad Wolf; we’ve had Torchwood; we’ve had Saxon.  This year regular viewers have been at a loss.  Fortunately for viewers of CBeebies help is at hand.  The theme clearly relates to Storymakers, the popular CBeebies show, hosted variously by members of the Wordsworth clan – including (be still your beating heart – Rosetti Wordsworth (and didn’t Rosetti get quoted in Midnight – creepy eh?)).  But it doen’t stop there.  Every episode of Storymakers begins with “It’s midnight in the library” – spookily anticipating episodes 8 to 10 of the series, 8 and 9 taking place IN THE LIBRARY, and 10 being MIDNIGHT.

Watch out for the use of some imagination in episode 11 as we imagine, imagine, imagine a story.  And episodes 12 and 13 will obviously see the Doctor feature his most deadly foe – a giant blue cow travelling by public transport.

About loveandgarbage

I watch the telly and read when not doing law stuff and plugging my decade and a half old unwatched Edinburgh fringe show.
