Identity theft

If you suspect fraud in relation to your National Insurance numebr – what should you do?

Thankfully, Alastair has pointed out that HMRC have provided advice which is repeated in full below the cut (and if you don’t believe it – follow the link to the HMRC website)

But at least they’re not lying to us for once.

Glad you finally got your dream realised Scott; shame it wasn’t quite what you were hoping for (or maybe it was)
I have been canvassed once, by the Lib Dems.
They asked me one question “Who are you considering voting for at the next election?”
Did they mean the Holyrood election? Or the Westminster election is before that? What about the European elections next year?
I considered pointing all of this out to the caller.
I merely paused and said “SNP” before he said thanks and hung up the phone.
Another dodgy poll for the Lib Dems then I guess!
