Children’s television

Via the ever-readable Mr

yesterday I was directed to the Save British kid’s TV campaign

I visited the site.  I signed the petition at the Downing Street website.

But, does anyone else think it ironic that a blogger at Sky is promoting the campaign to promote investment in British children’s television, and to cut the imports?  I might be wrong but I don’t recall much Sky investment (or following Michael Grade’s return to ITV, ITV investment) in British children’s television.

About loveandgarbage

I watch the telly and read when not doing law stuff and plugging my decade and a half old unwatched Edinburgh fringe show.

One Response to Children’s television

  1. A fine campaign. Having seen the american drek the nephew and niece watch, I am with this one completely. One of the few bits of the BBC I would keep.
