All new fake television shows

How to pay off your mortgage in under two years.  BBC2, 2008

Following the success of the first series of this show a new series is commissioned but this time presented by John and Anne Darwin.  The programme is taken off air following repetition of advice from episode to episode, and a resultant boom in the purchase of canoes.

I think the point of doing a Reggie Perrin is to leave your clothes (or canoe) on a beach and never come back . . . ;o)
But the Mirror assures us that Panama is the in place to live now, despite the poverty and corruption. Bit like the UK, then!
