A question of trust

During her (uncontested) election campaign Wendy Alexander produced a manifesto.  On page 4 of that manifesto she wrote,

My mission and Scottish Labour’s in coming weeks and months is to win back the trust of the Scottish people.
“To do that we must be the champions of change and reform. We must be a party that listens to the people of Scotland.
“If we listen and learn and are bold and brave – I believe we can regain the people’s trust.
