I can’t believe it’s not quite Blake’s 7

Via Rob Buckley Kudos is developing a space travel drama described as follows:

“In Outcasts, penned by Spooks writer Ben Richards, the future of earth looks increasingly precarious and the race is on to find an alternative home in the universe.

“In return for their liberty a group of social misfits and criminals are sent into space to be the pioneers of a large new settlement on a nearby planet. “

The group is a mixed bunch, ranging from a “brilliant deviant” to a “petty thief”.
    It’s nothing like Blake’s 7 – there’s no telepath, for a start. There’s not even a cranky supercomputer disguised as a fishtank!
