Stewart Stevenson – SNP candidate for Banff – cultural behemoth

The SNP candidate for Banff (and the man that may be depriving Alex S of his route to Holyrood) is Stewart Stevenson.  My regular reader may recall that Stevenson was on the Justice committee in the last parliament and brandished the unpublished Shirley McKie report on the Edinburgh-Glasgow train allowing anyone with passing interest to get a free preview of the report.

Anyhow, Stevenson has provided information to the Holyrood2007 website detailing his interests and policy priorities.  I was interested to see that – as well as the compulsory Runrig reference – his favourite piece of classical music was the 1812 overture…

…by Beethoven.
