Viewers lose “millions” to GMTV

A Panorama investigation for the BBC has revealed that literally millions of hours are lost to GMTV every week.  Apparently viewers are still watching Fiona Phillips struggling to embody the GMTV hard news agenda, while Lorraine Kelly comments on how nice dresses look; and Blind Date reject Jenni Falconer’s cosy on stilts relationship with her Entertainment Today colleague.  Additionally himoff the tennis, and himoff Xtra Factor maintain their presence as the Mike Morris clones of today.  A government adviser has warned viewers to switch off for fear that their brain juice will dribble from their ears and the next thing you know they’ll be watching Smile TV at 2 in the morning.

In other news Panorama has revealed that the GMTV quiz is a rip-off designed to con money out of unsuspecting idiots.  Consequently a poll:

About loveandgarbage

I watch the telly and read when not doing law stuff and plugging my decade and a half old unwatched Edinburgh fringe show.
