Heads up – BBC4

In anticipation of the demise of Life on Mars BBC4 is stepping into the breach to fill the gap in our lives with two shows from 10 pm – midnight beginning this evening.  Five Days is being repeated after its showing on BBC1 (and messing around due to the scheduling delights we’ve come to expect).  Also being repeated is the best crime drama of last year, Spiral.  A French detective drama the first series of Spiral has political intrigue, unfeasibly good looking lawyers and police officers; drugs; forensics; tight plotting and a cracking script.  If you missed it last year it’s well worth catching.

Also, did anyone else share the group hallucination of Val Doonican night on BBC4 last night?  I’m sure I dreamt it but why would my subconscious inflict Henry Cooper, Arthur Askey, and Val Doonican doing Desert Island Discs with bad puns, and a joke about Sibelius?

About loveandgarbage

I watch the telly and read when not doing law stuff and plugging my decade and a half old unwatched Edinburgh fringe show.
