Miscellany: Icke, Brian May, Jasper CArrott, Tommy Cooper, Doctor Who

While marking a PhD I’ve not yet had the time to put the review of The Verdict together.  In the interim, though enjoy the following:

An interview with David Icke from Off the Telly – with comments on the Illuminati and the secret plan to microchip the population (a matter being considered by the Scottish Parliament petitions committee – see my post earlier in the week)

Brian May’s blog – which you cannot reproduce without permission and is copyright brianmay.com.  Thrill to his Sky at Night anecdotes, concerns about hedgehogs,  and a very entertaining post on Sunday 11th february 2007 criticising a review in the Sunday Times:  “He spends hours sifting through back-pages of Bri’s Soapbox, cutting and pasting chunks of it into his feature of the day. Easy money, I’d say ! Hi there, John Elliott ! Try this bit ! What was it now, “We Will, We Will Plagiarise You” ? With a slight whiff of condescension ?” and there’s more.  As noted on the website the views in the blog are “purely and personally those of myself, Brian; they are not the official views of Queen, or of any other organisation or individual”.

Jasper Carrott proving he’s on live television in 1979.

About loveandgarbage

I watch the telly and read when not doing law stuff and plugging my decade and a half old unwatched Edinburgh fringe show.

  1. Enjoyed the doctor who’s, but particularly enjoyed tommy cooper.
A couple of videos of my own: Ive been watchin some of derren brown’s subliminal messaging techniques. absolutely amazing.
In this one he makes a guy go buy a product from supermarket – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlLeE1Xg6QI
In this one he makes people forget what stop they’re getting off at – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bkleuxpvxY
see if you can pick out some of his subliminal messages. its brilliant.
There are a few even better ones if you search on youtube. I like this sort of thing, because it’s not magic hocus-pocus, just trickery of the mind.
