Legal news

So, the priapic Judge John Deed may actually be more realistic than I’d otherwise imagined.

Judge John wouldn’t get his whanger out on a train! With all the lovely ladeez queuing up for a taste of his summary justice, he doesn’t need to act like a desperate nonce.
This fellow sounds like he’s not fit to lick the shiny leather Deed boots (though I dare say he’d like to). Dirty boy!

    • UNless one takes the cynical approach of fancy the judge in the de Menezes case being tied into a criminal investigation – which could come from the pen of GF Newman.
In my home town the former convenor of the district council was once done for indecent exposure and gained the nickname “Frank the Flasher”. Any suggested nicknames for judges in similar positions gratefully received>

The bit of the story I love is –
“A judge cannot be suspended, but there is a convention that they do not sit while a situation like this is ongoing…….”
    They have a convention?
    For situations like this?
    best wishes
