The forces against the imperial might of the Murdoch empire have taken steps to defend Tommy Sheridan from the perjury charges that he lied during the defamation action (the action his then colleagues in the Scottish Socialist Party did not want him to bring for fear of the damage it would do to the Govan Bigfoot and to the socialist movement in Scotland).
They’ve set up a website; they’ve produced a home made video invoking the takeover of the Wall Street Journal (one thing by which the socialist movement was, I am now aware, particularly exercised) and Hillsborough.
With support of this high quality, surely the Tomster cannot possibly lose.
WIth this calibre of support, there is no way Tommy, his relatives and chums will end up in jail. Congratulations, Tam, on defeating the charges at this early stage.
