A big news story like that of the royal blackmail causes problems for local newspapers. How best to report it? Well, nothing I’ve seen so far tops the effort of the Grimsby Telegraph under the headline “PLAYBOY ACCUSED IN ROYAL BLACKMAIL PLOT HAS LINKS WITH GRIMSBY” which leads to a story giving full details of his connection with the Grimsby area.
What’s next? The Annandale Observer leading with “SOCIALITE BLACKMAIL SUSPECT HAS LINKS WITH ANNAN: ONCE SAW KOFI ANNAN ON TELEVISION ADDRESSING BIG MEETING AT UN”?
ETA Link corrected for those bemused by the post earlier…
Did you post the wrong link there, or has it just been changed? or perhaps I don’t understand the post?
Wrong link. Many thanks.
Scott
Thanks for that. I had to have a chuckle as Giovanni Di Stefano rears his (somewhat) ugly head once more. Perhaps he’ll purchase fabrizio ravanelli and craig burley, before bankrupting the poor guy…
