Thanks to the contributor from the Scottish Parliament (and one other from elsewhere in Edinburgh) who posted anonymous comments on my post about trams.
They point out that Mr Souter’s business won’t benefit from the cancellation of Edinburgh tramline project. I am happy to make that clear
Maybe I should have asked about the rail link to the airport which is under greater threat than the trams? 
I’m not sure which company provides the buses from Fife to the airport.
Given Stagecoach’s voracious acquisition of other companies or their agressive competitive actions it may be that Mr Souter has designs in the Edinburgh area?
