My favourite Peter Cook film, The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer, is available on DVD from the end of the month.

    I just downloaded this about a month ago, after reading Michael Palin’s diaries, which mentions it. I liked it a lot. It also stars Arthur Lowe, who seems to be in all the films I have to acquire from dubious and not strictly legal sources (cf: The Bed-Sitting Room).
