Why is a convicted criminal like Archole sitting on a jury, even if it is on a television programme rather than a court of law?
He would of course be barred from a real jury falling within the 10 year rule for convicted and jailed crooks. Honor Blackman (as she is over the maximum age for jury service) is also ineligible. ALex James also has a criminal record but this joke is not sufficient to warrant his exclusion from the jury. Stan and “Megaman” are both eligible given the lack of prosecution and acquittal respectively. When contrasted with Consent on Channel 4, this is simply shoddy.
I watched one episode, although not watching the rest didnt really have anything to do with life on mars im afraid, actually I thought life on mars had finished last series? did it not get found out that he had an accident and was in a coma? then he woke up from the coma?
anyway, the episode i watched did give me some insight as to what jurors think, but i also thought it would have been better with non-celebrities. it seemed like too much of the time, the “celebrities” were pretending, or acting, clever/smart/concerned etc.
im off now to cry over my poor tax law marks…
