An Iraqi court today dropped charges against late Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein.
A fictitious spokesman said,
“While we are happy for trials to continue while judges resign, while defence counsel are blown up, and when the accused is not present; the condemnation by John Prescott and Gordon Brown has persuaded us that now is the time to show clemency. Accordingly, we will not be pursuing the charges against the late Mr Hussein. Instead, we will continue the trial of the others and hang them in due course, sorry, allow due process to take effect.”
Is it just me, or are Prescott and Brown sounding like pit-bull owners who act horrified when their “bread-to-kill” dog suddenly attacks someone or rips another dog to pieces. “He was such a lovelly killing machine, we just didn’t see it coming.”
